Borneo Kelly bays and Tuaran Crocodile Farm Trips...

20&21 August 2009,
Due to 1 week mid-semester break,i decided to organize a group of 27 coursemates and some juniors visit to Tuaran Crocodile Farm and the Borneo KellyBays.

Here we go for our trip:
In the morning, 8.30a.m of 20 August, we start to depart from UMS. The first place we visit are crocodile farm. Below are some picture took at there...

Finished visiting crocodile farm, we going to the KellyBay which located opposite of the crocodile farm. Along the road to KellyBay jetty, we passby a malay kampung...

After reached KellyBay jetty, we go to KellyBay by a roofed bamboo raft which is the only form of transportation to cross over the river to KellyBay. The KellyBay is located not far away from the jetty. Along the river to kelly bay, we passby the Mangrove Swamp (a type of wetland in Malaysia). Below are the picture of the bamboo boat and the kelly bay.

After unloading our things, the first activity we started is the survivor games.


Blow Pipe
The brown color shirt is me which blowing the pipe and shoot the target to score the points for our team....








Big Foot Slipper
This game make my foot damn painful after played it. By the way, it's a nice game. It needed the cooperate of each participants of a team. A lot of funny things happened when playing the game!!!....
Guys, thanks to your cooperate that we win the game.






Wheel of Fortune
The other survivor game which choosing the punishment by rotate a plate of 4 choices of boxes. The game is depends on our luck.
Due to the bad luck, i chosen to swallow the egg. But, it's not bad taste, somemore it contain high protein,hehe...

At there we can watch the beautiful sunrise over magnificent Mt. Kinabalu. At night, we sleep in the camp that we setup. The whole night i can't get sleep much because we keep chatting and playing the card game.

The 2nd day, 21 August 2009,

That is our breakfast with sausage, eggs and some noodles... We take a lot of the sausage and eggs,hehe...

Yea, after fullfill our stomach, is time to having the extreme water sport games which also my favorite.

The water sport games include banana boat, kayak and the water paddle. The Banana Boat game is the most extreme water sport game at there but it's really fun!!! i played it twice!! Besides that, KellyBay also have a nice seaview!!

After enjoying all the games there, is time to say goodbye for KellyBay. We take a family photo there before leaving.

We have the nice lunch at restaurant nearby the KellyBay before going back UMS.

2009 UMS Computer Science Night...

On 10 April 2009, there is my course night which setup at Beverly Hotel, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. I am also the vice president to handle this course night. The course night is the first and never happened event organize by our course. After the few months of every AJK's effort, it has successful held at Beverly Hotel. Although it's only a few coursemates attend for it, but, i'm sure i have a good memory at that night!!!

Mobile Challenge Contest (MCC)

MCC Overview

The Mobile Content Challenge (MCC) is a program created for students of Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) in Malaysia to research and use new technologies to develop real world solutions for mobile telecommunications. This event is jointly organized by Maxis Communications Berhad, the Ministry of Information, Communication & Culture (MICC) and the Malaysian Communications & Multimedia Commission (SKMM).

On the 10 of August 2009, the whole Web Technology course's students which also included me are compulsory to attend the MCC workshop which located at Sabah 1 Borneo Hypermall grand ballroom. The workshop is all about inspire us to make an application for mobile phone, how to make money with mobile phone, how to motivate ourselves, and what we need to do for take part to the Mobile Content Challenge. The talks in the workshop are deliver by several professional speakers which are:

1. Mr. Kamarul Harun from Maxis Company
2. Mr. Abdullah Sani Alwi from MDEC
3. Mr. Syaizul Amar from Metadome
4. Mr. Mohd Asri Sahalan
5. Mr. Ubi from Kartunis Ubi. Com
6. Mr. Muthu Nedumaran from Murasu Systems

The program started from 9.00a.m until 5.00p.m. This talk give me much knowledge about develop an application for a mobile phone. Although mobile phone is such a little thing, but i believe that, mobile phone will be the impetus for the world's technology to a more higher state.

Get in Atmosphere!!!

An evening of 15 August 2009 :
A gang of software engineering and networking management students break in the atmosphere!!! They spend a lot of money and having some nice memories at there...!!!! lol....just kidding with your..

Yea, that is a nice evening i having my dinner with a gang of my coursemate at Atmosphere restaurant. Atmosphere Restaurant and Bar is situated on the roof of Kota Kinabalu & Sabah and is Borneo’s highest and only revolving restaurant. A mere 15 minutes drive from Kota Kinabalu city centre, Atmosphere is housed on the18th floor of Menara Tun Mustapha (formerly known as the Sabah Foundation Building).

Back of the tower is facing a great sea. Before we having dinner at atmosphere restaurant, we take a chance to enjoy watch sunset at there.....Below is some photos of sunset and our gang:

After that, we are going to enjoy our dinner....Atmosphere is billed as a modern dining restaurant. Ironically, the decor is funky retro, and from the moment you step into the express elevators that will whisk you away to Borneo’s only revolving restaurant, you know you’re in for something special.

Of course, being up on the 18th floor and revolving through 360 degrees once every hour, Atmosphere is the ideal place to enjoy lunch, sundowners, an early dinner or dating,hehe....

Due to money inside my wallet, i only order a duck breast and a guava juice for my dinner....After having lunch, it's the time for Happy Hour. From 9pm to midnight every day, a generous Happy Hour menu offers a selection of the best cocktails at the best prices in Kota Kinabalu and Sabah.

Huh....just a while, the time is 10p.m. Seems, some of my coursemates are stay in Kolej UMS, so, we just say goodbye to Atmosphere restaurant and bar. But not bad at least we have some good memories there...

Atmosphere, is that i still have chance to come find you again?! i think it will be, "i'll be back"(words from Terminator) hehe....

My Daily Life with University Malaysia Sabah....

My daily life will start with a wake up of a lazy guy at 30 minutes or an hour before his UMS lecture start ...
Sometime without having breakfast, he will rush to his university for class.

Here is the place where this guy having his lab sometimes. For some courses, he might need to attend the lab classes. There is place with about 20 computers inside. Here also the place i having my Web Technology class which i learn to create this blog....

Yea!! Here is the place he always stay after his classes, otherwise, he will go home. Here is a place full with books, handsome boys and pretty girls. Sometime it fullfill with damn cold air because that place have a great air condition system..hehe... The facilities inside it is quite good.



D'bayu Restaurant
Here is another place that this guy to fullfill his look small but feel wide stomach when he feel hungry after read few books or after the classes...

Here is the restaurant near our lecture hall. It is a nice place for student having their meat. It have a nice sea view beside it restaurant and maybe because of this, there food prices is more expensive compare with other restaurant in University. Although it is a nice place for having meat, but not for the foods at there..lol...

For this guy, after he going back to home, the first things sure he did is open his lappy to online....

So, about 1 or 2 a.m, the day of this guy will end by fall to his bed and having his sweet dreams....
Sometime, when have a lot of courseworks, he won't get to fall to his lovely bed,haiz....
