Mobile Challenge Contest (MCC)

MCC Overview

The Mobile Content Challenge (MCC) is a program created for students of Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) in Malaysia to research and use new technologies to develop real world solutions for mobile telecommunications. This event is jointly organized by Maxis Communications Berhad, the Ministry of Information, Communication & Culture (MICC) and the Malaysian Communications & Multimedia Commission (SKMM).

On the 10 of August 2009, the whole Web Technology course's students which also included me are compulsory to attend the MCC workshop which located at Sabah 1 Borneo Hypermall grand ballroom. The workshop is all about inspire us to make an application for mobile phone, how to make money with mobile phone, how to motivate ourselves, and what we need to do for take part to the Mobile Content Challenge. The talks in the workshop are deliver by several professional speakers which are:

1. Mr. Kamarul Harun from Maxis Company
2. Mr. Abdullah Sani Alwi from MDEC
3. Mr. Syaizul Amar from Metadome
4. Mr. Mohd Asri Sahalan
5. Mr. Ubi from Kartunis Ubi. Com
6. Mr. Muthu Nedumaran from Murasu Systems


The program started from 9.00a.m until 5.00p.m. This talk give me much knowledge about develop an application for a mobile phone. Although mobile phone is such a little thing, but i believe that, mobile phone will be the impetus for the world's technology to a more higher state.
